more pictures!!

It has been a few weeks, but there are lots of pictures!!! I know this is what you are all here to see!

The pas few weeks Flynn has met more of his family and lots of friends! We have also been on a few adventures as we explore some of our favorite places with him!!

we are busting out of here!!

The big day has come, Flynn’s doctors have cleared him to be discharged!! It has been a long 37 days in the NICU for Heather and I, but seeing his smiling face every time we arrived made it totally worth it. Now the adventure of caring for him at home starts, bring on the 2AM feedings!!

more baby pictures!!!

It’s been a little bit since our last post, Heather and I have had a very busy two weeks! Between work, the bathroom remodel and spending time with Flynn at the NICU we have not had a lot of spare time. but I know your all here for baby pictures and not reed my rambling about out busy schedule, so here you go! 😉

and it is done!

well almost. If having a baby in the NICI wasn’t enough stress the last two weeks we had ongoing construction project remodeling the bathroom. This was all in the works well before Flynn was born in preparation for his July 6th due date, but he had other plans. The project is complete with the exception for the 4 tiles we were short, come custom cabinets we are looking to have made, and the baseboard heat to be finished. We finally can use an indoor bathroom and shower at home!! We cannot wait to take Flynn home and bathe him in the brand new tub!!

another week in the books

It has been quite an exciting week this week for Flynn, he hit 4 pounds, moved from the NICU over to the special care nursery, he left his isolette for a crib, and started breast-feeding!! The little guy never ceases to amaze me with the progress he is making.

Our week has been another tiring yet wonderful week, commuting to and from the hospital, maintaining some resemblance of a work week, and watching our little miracle grow and progress. Heather is doing awesome with all of this, adjusting to all of Flynn’s additional needs along with wrapping up things up at work since she had to leave abruptly. Motherhood really suits her!!

baby shower time

We had a great afternoon celebrating Flynn with friends and family! Great people, delicious food and some semblance of a normalcy. It was wonderful to visit with everyone, many people whom we haven’t seen since our wedding in October of 2019! It was pleasantly overwhelming to feel everyone’s excitement and love for us and Flynn. We are humbled by the kindness and generosity of our loved ones and can’t wait to introduce him to everyone who has made our lives so special!
