weekend adventures

7.31.22

This past weekend was a busy one! We spent Saturday down in Warren RI with Erin an Alex getting some delicious seafood at the Blount Clam Shack. That afternoon we did a quick ride on the local bike path while making sure to stop and play in the park for a bit. On Sunday we decided to take the bikes on an adventure and explore the East Bay bike path and rode from Providence down to Bristol and back. All said and done we rode about 50 miles and ate plenty of seafood and ice cream to replace all the burned calories. It was a good weekend!

saturday adventures.

Todays adventure started with some delicious mac & cheese to give Flynn some energy to get through the fun filled day we had planned. We spent the rest of the afternoon down in Narragansett with a walk on the south county bike path. We then finished the day with Iggy’s chowder and clam cakes by the Point Judith lighthouse, and boy did Flynn love his first doughboy! By the look of him on the way home, it is safe to say he had a lot of fun!

more adventures.

We had a quite an adventure this past Sunday that started with a drive to Connecticut to pick up a hiking carrier for Flynn that I found on Craigs List. We then decided to take the carrier out on its maiden voyage with a hike at the Devil’s Hopyard state park, what a beautiful place to visit. The person that sold us the carrier had also recommended Salem Valley Farms for ice cream so of course Heather and I being the ice cream lovers that we are, had to try it out before leaving the area!! The day ended with Flynn’s first visit to one of momma’s favorite restaurants, Olive Garden and very tired Flynn sleeping the whole way home! It was a good day.
